This is true. We went to visit our folks back home in Florida and left out cats in the care of our neighbor who checked and fed them daily. When we got back and said, “we’re home!” they were sitting on the back of the couch and just glanced at us and went back to their snoozing. But later they licked and purred us for hours.

Well, at least we know they’re thinking it. :)
