“Do not disturb (any further).” Still stinks, though.

Our hotel in Amsterdam had a door sign that said, “Privacy please…we are naked in here.”

When I used to travel for work back in the ‘70s, I HATED having housekeeping come into my room when I stayed in a hotel. (I don’t like having “my” space, even my temporary space, invaded.) When I checked in, I’d always tell the front desk, “$20 for the housekeepers if they don’t come in until I’ve checked out.” That usually worked.

These need to be made available at hotels. Sooner rather than later.

I worked at a motel in San Simeon one summer. Maids on a tight schedule have been known to knock and tell you that you must have accidentally left the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door. :)

That would make a great door hanger for a kid’s bedroom.
