Gary must live in the U.S. Last time I was there, you couldn’t swing a dead cat without hitting a plus-size clothing store, but try to find a frickin’ bookstore anywhere…
It was the city of Cleveland J, it was a 45 minute drive to near the downtown area before I found a bookstore, meanwhile the area I lived in (North Randall) there had to be at least six plus-size clothing stores on the block that I was staying on. I weigh about 175 lbs. myself, but when I went into stores there, it was quite often that I noticed, that I was the lightest person weight wise, in there. I’ve never seen as many overweight people in my life, than I did on that trip. People there might want to watch their diet a bit, that kind of weight can kill you.
I grew up in Cleveland in the 50’s and 60’s. The overweight problem is growing all over the U.S., and I’m sure in many other developed nations worldwide. When I was a kid I really never noticed as many overweight people as I do today.
People really don’t get out as much as they did years ago, and when they do, they go straight to their favorite restaurants. Eating out seems to have become a new type of entertainment.

Oh, Gary–don’t you see that sometimes you’re just asking for it? Putting temptation in front of Leopold’s weak sense of loyalty is not a good idea!
