O Positive is a nice light blood for a hot summer’s day of hiking, but I prefer the 1987 AB Negative. It has a nice finish, and goes well with beef, lamb and virginal young women.
Yay, Gary! So good to see you at least flirting with The Old Ways again! Is O-Positive your real preference, or just what was available at the Blood Bank of the hospital? And nice to see Travis smiling, too!
Back in the 80s, my scout troop’s “hikemaster,” a doctor by trade, provided the scouts with medical irrigation bottles and tubing to use as a hands-free drinking system for hiking (bottle in a side pouch of the backpack, tubing from there to a spot convenient for grabbing and sucking). I use that system to this day. His idea came long before the Camelbak came out; had he tried to parlay his notion into a commercial product, he would be a very rich man today. Ah, well, it’s one thing to have a great idea; it’s quite another to successfully develop it for the market.

He’s still a good guy or it would have been O-Negative. ;-)

Hey I just donated O-Positive blood last week. I’m glad to see that it’s going to good use!
