Hmmm, I guess for the last two weeks I’ve been living like there’s no tomorrow…

Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. ake therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. Matthew 6:31-34

Do the laundry first, then live the rest of the day like it’s your last.

One day soon the senator will know he is watched when laundering the money.

If you really don’t care that much what you look like, just buy really cheap new clothes every time the old ones get dirty.

…if you turn your underwear inside out, (yellow in front-brown in back) you can get a couple more weeks out of ‘em

I don’t do laundry, either. I donate all my clothes to Goodwill. They wash them and put them on a hanger. Then I go back the next day and buy them back for fifty cents.

Gomez99, you’re a genius. This also would probably work with broken electrical stuff too.

The Simpsons did a gag about taking the advice “live every day as if it were your last” literally: Homer read a book containing that advice, pulled over, sat on a park bench and cried because he didn’t want to die so young…

See…that’s the thing.. If you live every day as your last you probably won’t because you’d be too depressed knowing that day ‘was’ your last…human instinct for survival and all…

How can murderers on death row order & eat their last meal?

I’d like to think that if it was my last day on earth, I’d do good for others, apologize for hurting anyone, and give serious thought about “the life to come”. But I’m afraid I’d probably be just as self centered as ever and have a pity party like Homer!

My crazy old girlfriend once told me that I lived like I’d “either live forever, or die tomorrow!” I thanked her. That’s just what I’d been trying for. Take care of business, but don’t pet the sweaty stuff.

And I don’t think I’d care for Jack Reacher’s castoffs, washed or not. Though he seems to have good taste in sturdy shoes.

Thanx, Yukoner! That was God telling us not to worry but to, instead, trust Him because He “knows the end from the beginning”.

Don’t live every day like it is your last; live every day for God because it just might be your last!

“Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment,.” Hebrews 9:27
