Believe it….or not. I was actually thinking of a line from Amazon Women on the Moon but can’t use that one here.

With enough fabrication, anything will fit in anything. I’ve heard of classic ‘50s cars being retrofitted with complete drive train, suspension and running gear from modern cars (for instance, a ’56 Bel Air redone with engine, transmission, rear end, suspension and brakes from a new Corvette). If you’re actually planning to drive the car (as opposed to just park it in a show every Sunday), this is a great thing to do.

Is there a Mary Kay Museum? True, it’s a DeSoto, not a Caddy, but it’s so over the top maybe they could make an exception.

Try looking up pictures of a ’59 Dodge Royal. The tail fins are remarkably similar.

I’m gonna get a Smart Car and put those tail fins on it.

My dad built a cabin cruiser with DeSoto tail fins on it. It also had a windshield using the back window of a 47 Studebaker. The whole thing was hand-built.

Remember those conversion kits you used to be able to buy? Put a Rolls Royce hood on a Volkswagen?

Why would you ever do that? Its engine would probably outlast a dozen new engines! I have four Chrysler products of that era and they all work perfectly.

That’s a ‘59 DeSoto and it’s FAR better than any Chevy or Ford of that era.
