‘Sorta’ sounds like the guy that walked off a pier and into a lake. Climbs out and stumbles to his cottage and climbs in bed.His wife objects and hears—‘You do want you want to on your side of the bed and I’ll do what I want on my side.’ He wakes up the next morning to an ‘ice cold’ glass of water being poured on his bare back!!!
It is too bad that what would normally disqualify a job applicant in the real world just seems to be a resume enhancer for the politicians of the world. Therefore: He may be a crook, but he is my crook.
Yes, Ima, and Larry Craig, and Newt Gingrich, and whoever that governor was in South Carolina who went “hiking the Appalachian trail.” I’m assuming you are referring to Chappaquidic. If you can find a copy, as it is probably long out of print, I suggest you read “The Bridge at Chappaquidic” for the real story. By the way, what kind of “Family Values” does Rush have? Three wives, no kids. I thought “marriage” was supposed to be for procreation?
So by the comments directed at me, Mitt Romney is also not qualified to be president, as his father was born in Mexico. Oh, wait, they never renounced their citizenship, just fled to Mexico to continue the TRADITIONAL Mormon polygamy! Apparently that 1875 decision was later nullified? Funny it was never brought up by/to any credible news organization 4 years ago, and I’ve heard enough Rush/Beck/Hannity quotes that never raised that issue. He was born here, he’s qualified BTW: McCain was born in Panama. Yes, I know, the military, both parents, yada, yada. Article Two of OUR Constitution DOES NOT SAY that a candidate MUST HAVE two AMERICAN parents, only that He /She be a “natural born citizen”. ’Nuff said!
Probably too late, but have just read the Minor decision. WTF did you come up with your conclusion? It CLEARLY is talking about women’s suffrage, and parenthetically mentions alien children and alien women being allowed to become citizens if the husband had declared for naturalization, but died before becoming a citizen. Cases are not comparable, as Obama’s Mother was already a citizen, as implied by the followup comments on that particular section. It is clear that they believed a woman who was already a natural born citizen, and her offspring, did not have to rely on the citizenship of her husband to be considered a citizen. As I said before-straying into birther territory. Is this one of Beck’s John Birch “hidden history” readings?

Didn’t duck the question, just asked. NEVER heard of this ruling, and as I said, since Romney’s Dad was born in Mexico, doesn’t that disqualify him?
