Housework for you birds is Easy…just abandon your nests come Autumn and make brand-new ones in the Spring! But, who knows Where you spend your Winters… ;)
My geometry teacher in high school told of his “Appalachian” relatives who had a five “living room” house. They lived in a room for a year, then moved into another, and boarded up the “lived in” ones. After all five were used, they tore down the boards, cleaned the whole house (if you can imagine!), then started over again!!
I clean sheets and pillow covers every week and a half to ten days.I read once that your mattress attracts bugs and mites and gets heavier every year with them.(shudder)..I wrapped that sucker up with a giant polyethylene bag so I can sleep at night…. ;-)
I know how you feel Roz. I have the dust bunnies to prove it.One in a few months I get motivated. I need to invite people over that will be motivation.

When I feel like doing housework, I just lie down until the feeling goes away!

When I need motivation to clean I simply watch an episode of Hoarders then I want to clean and have a garage sale.

That is why the leaf blower was invented – to cut down on the time it takes to clean a house.

I haven’t seen this joke for about 40 years.. But the reason I remember it is that I can relate to it.
