    What did we ever do before SpellCheck ? Oh yeah, we used the dictionary.

    I still spell better in other languages, than I do in English.

    My favorite correction (and this is a paraphrase): “Yesterday we erroneously called John Smith a ‘defective’ on the police force. He is actually a detective on the police farce.” [sic, natch!]

    We hardly ever speak to anyone anymore because we have texting on cell phones; we aren’t learning how to write a letter in cursive because it is never taught anymore; we don’t learn how to spell anymore because of computers with spell check, etc…

    If the power ever goes out, we’re screwed!

    I won at the sixth grade level but blew it at the next level. I misunderstood ‘cherry’ for ‘cheery’ (or vice-versa) and spelled the wrong one.
