At my brother’s wake,last year, we placed on the side of his casket, a ball cap from each of his favorite sports teams – Red Sox, N.E. Patriots, UConn – and buried him in one of his favorite polo shirts with a team logo on it.

He was an avid sports fan. After he retired, he avoided wearing suits and ties, a much as possible.

I’m sure he was happy with our decision.

For those of you that are fans of Sherlock, one of the writers was at a funeral and someone’s phone in the middle of the service started playing “Stayin’ Alive.” This is why Moriarty’s phone started playing it in Season 2.

Well after all, funerals are for the living, not the deceased…

My friends sister has a hubby that is really obsessed with sports….if he’s watching a game, she could dance naked in front of the TV, and he would tell her to get out of the way!!Glad I’m not a sports fan!!

you better include a full tank of gas on that list, coz I doubt there’s any gas stations on the other side!
