FedEx and UPS have several classes of mail. The lowest class gets your package on the first truck with extra room, whether it is going toward the destination or not. I’ve seen packages drop off tracking for days, weeks, or months, then show up again, way out of the way.

I wouldn’t want to go to that service. The sight of a smashed up coffin with a leg or arm hanging out, might bother me.
