For my wife’s birthday I gave her an antique organ.

I’m sure she was so pleased.

They do say that silence is golden.

One time I didn’t talk to my wife for 2 years. I didn’t want to interrupt her.

While she was driving I saw a beautiful deer in the road and of course said to my now ex, “That deer’s got 10 points.” “Yes, dear” and surprisingly she keeps the same speed up. “Deer.” “Yes, dear.” “Deer. In front of you.” “Yes, dear?” (still goin’). “STOP! THERE’S A TEN POINT BUCK SMACK IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD!” (now less than 10 yards away). “Huh?” She screeched to a halt, startled the deer, and almost stopped breathing from fright. We were in town, on a bright and sunny early Sunday morning in the Springtime. No, she doesn’t have a hearing problem. And yes, if a tree fell in the forest and nobody was there to hear it, I would still be wrong.

and she told you if you couldn’t get the organ to stand up she didn’t want it

You’ve got a wife? Yeah, and probably several girl friends. . .sigh. . .

What? I could have done that? No, way too much effort to remember.

My mother did that to me. Best summer of my life to that point.

I didn’t think that was possible.
