Halley’s Comet? Saw it once. That was enough.

Mark Twain came in with Halley’s Comet in 1835 and then went out with it in 1910. Pretty strange coincidence…….

Not funny, not fair. I get great service at the VA

I saw Halley’s Comet and later that same day I saw the test Space Shuttle Enterprise flyover on the back of a 747. Pretty exciting day if you like that sort of thing, which I do!

My father was born in 1910. Oddly enough he died in 1986. In with the comet, out with the comet.

I was in college the last time it came round. I enjoyed going out on my bike and thought I’d found the perfect spot to see it from-using the directions from TV news. Told friends who also wanted to see it and we drove out there. and suddenly the site was swarmed by people with serious telescopes.

I felt smug. I mean i just scoped it out with a bicycle and a look at the lay of the land and I guessed right-the best viewing spot in the Hartford Ct area.

The comet itself? meh.

If you think the VA is bad, wait until the Democrats give us universal healthcare.

How old will I be in 2061?

That is if the Earth is still here…

But the VA is so much better than ever before, “Private Bonespurs” said it was and why would he lie?

Another coincidence, that when my student loans will be paid off.
