The delusion often starts at 29

They never told me that getting older made everything hurt when you get out of bed.

I guess that’s why it’s called being a groan-up.

You know what’s the worst part of getting older?

I can’t remember.

I have birthdays, but I just ignore them.

I get to celebrate my wife’s 74th over and over now.

I have a birthday every year. It just doesn’t get too much hoopla attached to it.

Do a lot of women lie about their age?

For my 71st birthday two days ago, I celebrated by visiting my wife at the rehab center where she’s recovering from broken bones sustained in a series of falls. Of course, I’ve been visiting her every day since she got there (and in the hospital before that), so it wasn’t much of a change.

My mom stopped at 39, like Jack Benny. We got to celebrate the 66th anniversary of her 39th birthday before she passed away in 2018

on the other hand, growing old alone means no one is there to harp on one’s degrading condition.

Just love filling out forms, that ask for your birth date, then a bit farther down, ask your age.

My mother fudged her age down a few years. It wasn’t because she was vain. It was more that she was a bit embarrassed about being married to guy eight years younger than she was. She was just trying to narrow that gap a bit.
