Little kitten toe beans! Now that makes me smile, even though we are supposed to get snow flurries today and there’s a freeze warning for tonight!

I’m very happy to see her, too! The rose in my avatar is from my favorite rosebush, an antique variety that only blooms in the spring. When the weather turns hot, the flowers fade and the petals fall, so I’m so glad to have spring linger for a while.

Spring is especially lovely here in Boise this year, for so many reasons….. Great to enjoy the goslings, ducklings, dogwoods blooming, lilacs and all the other signs of growth and rebirth as we do our best to keep healthy and safe.

How cute those two kittens look today.

People cry from overwhelming emotion . . . it’s a sad testament to the human condition that the overwhelming emotion is more often sadness than joy.
