I’ll bet those cats are dreaming of eating both the fish and the crane!

I don’t think the fish considers it particularly lucky.

Snow lives in such a beautiful world.

I’ve never actually seen a crane before…

Also, if you can catch the crane out of guard, you can eat it, too.

How could someone eat those beautiful birds?

In the area where I live, we have Great Blue Herons, a sort of blue-grey crane. They have very good vision and, even while flying, were able to spot a new goldfish in my little pond almost as soon as I replaced the last one.
