I apparently change words unconsciously when reading – unaware I did this until a friend asked me to read aloud part of a script he had written. I am sure there is a name for this affliction!
I would often embellish the traditional bedtime stores to my brothers with the aid of plastic soldiers, rubber dinosaurs, book towers and alien puppet invaders.
Ironically, the only part of the series I didn’t like (other than that most of my favorite characters did not survive to the end) was the Quidditch matches! (And no, spell check, I did not mean Chappaquiddick.)
