I have to make an appointment with the voter suppression office, then take my birth certificate, social security card, two proofs of address and $54 so I can vote.(I did the same except it was $31 last year.)
Sounds familiar. I was interviewed by the police as a witness. I had an expired drivers license (1 month) and the officer refused to look at it. Finally, I dug up my library card. That made him happy.
