I gave up on all that converting. From vinyl to 8-track to cassette, to CD,,,As soon as I start the process again, they’ll come up with something else to obsolete it.

If you’re getting hiss on your vinyl then something is wrong with your system. I’m not saying you’re not going to get it, but a clean record on a good system sounds better than CDs.
