We need to keep him a few days, but we can loan you a courtesy husband until he's ready to go home.
I need one that can do the odd jobs around the house!!!
Seems to me getting him out of the house for a few days is courtesy enough.
“Loan” is not a verb. The internet is ruining the language.
Maybe he’ll get lucky and she’ll run away with the new guy…
“Kookie, Kookie, loan me your comb” just doesn’t get it.
As long as they’re handing out, “courtesy spouses”, can I get a loaner-wife?
Preferably a newer, sportier model!
