Some trusting souls have put them up around here, only to have them vandalized, or destroyed!!

It’s conveniently equipped with a little librarian too.

My sister has a collection of miniature books. She just needs the miniature librarian.

The next time you want ‘a little peace and quiet’, you’ll know where to get it.

Even the large print books would be impossible for me to read!

This is where you can find Little Women, Little House on the Prairie, etc.

Would you recommend reading Little Frogs by Ted Pole?

I’ve always wondered how they look on the inside…

When I’m out walking (I do a lot of walking) and I pass by a Little Free Library, I always look inside, out of curiosity. Most of the time there aren’t any books of interest to me, but once I found a book written about James Herriot (“All Creatures Great and Small”) by his son. I didn’t have a book on me, though, so I walked several more blocks to the library—which was where I was headed in the first place. I bought a used book from their used books for sale shelf, went back to the Little Free Library, and traded my book for their book. Then, proud of myself for being ethical, I went home and watched television……

We have one of those in our neighborhood. Great place to give your well read books to your neighbors and borrow some of theirs.

I found Jon Stewart’s first book – “Naked Pictures of Famous People” at one of these. Written in 1998 before he did the “Daily Show,” it’s a hilarious set of fictional essays. The best is “The Devil and William Gates!”
