Wait. Shouldn’t Starbucks be invented first?

Maybe not coffee per se, but I suspect people have been using stimulants for as long as our species has been around, maybe longer. Maybe they didn’t drink it — they might have chewed leaves, like South Americans chewing coca leaves. They also might have made herbal teas; by the neolithic, baskets were invented that could hold water, which they could boil by heating a stone in a fire and dropping it into the water-filled basket.

Soooo, how did he get a mug? LOL

How did man survive before caffeine?
