My chef’s knife is maintained sharp enough to easily cut a baguette. Not so much puffy bread.
Freshly baked? I thought they came out of the oven stale.
For full effect, this fellow really should be drawn with a French accent. He just sounds better that way.
It’s a crumby act.
I’m not sure that’s correct baguetiquette.
The horror!
for the love of Humanity!!!
Be amazed, but remember – it’s just an illusion – it can’t really be done
The impressive part is the follow up with the salami and cheese. Then they break for lunch.
This magician is really on a roll
He was a master. He had the crowd eating out of his hand.
And for my next act: folding a fitted sheet.
Cutting edge humour.
A recent episode of “Food that built America” on the history channel was about the beginning of sliced bread in stores.
Can’t be done!
Did he make the cut?
Might as well use a butter knife.
Loafter is the best medicine.
How French, having your baguette locked in a guillotine.
If I have a choice, I prefer to tear off a chunk. The hard part is deciding on the cheese to go with it.
Ooh! Tricksome!
The illusionist should butter up the audience.
If he can do that, he deserves to be paid a lot of dough.
(Whether he kneads it or not!)
GASP! It cant be done!
Cutting it widthwise is easy- Let’s see you do it lengthwise with a non-serrated blade…
Very painful, for the baguette…
Good luck with that. Crumbs everywhere!
?
That’s not a real French. Everybody knows that you start by nibbling the end.
I’ll believe it when I see it. Prestidigitation is out of your legerdemain.
The shocked looked on the one audience member is priceless.
Sacre bleu!
