Our semi-annual cleaning has very little to do with cleaning out stuff that was already trash. We do, though, sometimes toss stuff that’s YEARS past its “best by” date.

Those are the cutest tortoise elephant feet I’ve ever seen. ♥♥ Gotta save them.

Got to make room for the new collection.

Elephant feet were used as waste baskets by the rich, titled old men in Victorian England.

Not spring cleaning. I have to do this every time I go for a swim in the polluted water.

Does this mean that turtles are to blame for (all or some of) the trash on the beach?

Well, it has been warm enough the last couple days.

Bob decided he likes a clean and tidy shell !

He didn’t feel like shelling out money for a maid.

It’s a good time to quit smoking. You wouldn’t believe how much it costs over your lifespan and you don’t have to repaint the interior as often.
