Recently I read that the victim of Cheney’s shot was NOT his friend. Which means a stranger was bullied into apologizing for being shot and concealing the likely fact of Cheney’s drunkenness.
motive, I’ve read many things. That doesn’t mean that they are true. Do you actually think that a total stranger would be allowed to go into the woods, armed with a shotgun, with the VP of the US? That could be the stupidest suggestion that I have ever heard.
However, I have accidentally hurt a friend of mine on an occation or two during sporting events. That happens.
What’s better? Shooting a friend or shooting an acquaintance? And either way getting the person to apologize for being shot?
And for the record, there are some compelling reasons to think Cheney was concealing having had a few beers, one of which was the significant delay between the event and getting the ambulance there.

What a shocker!
Motive reads some poop about a conservative = Motive accepts it as a gospel …and embellishes it with some of his loving conjecture(s) …

I think he WAS a lawyer though, which certainly should have made him “fair game”.

And now everybody should apologize to Cheney for hurting his feelings.

Cheney paid his $25 fine. Now what else would you want?
Hmmm?? I guess I would pay $25 to shoot a few people myself.

Cheney’s victim was a big time fundraiser.
“Sorry, for getting your buckshot embedded in me and almost dying. Can you forgive me?”
