There is a time for setting aspirational long-range goals and a time for specific legislative mandates enforced by consequences. Obviously Steve Kelley can’t tell the difference. Pathetic.
So, aspiring to make America better than it ever was for everyone is wrong … but returning to an exclusive, imaginary “Leave It To The Beaver” America is OK?
I think it’s ‘pathetic’ that people take time out to troll and slam Kelley or any other artist for their take on politics. I am not a Trump supporter but WOW people, what do you get out of your daily ritual of insulting political cartoonists, and each other at times? How about having a conversation instead of NOT TOLERATING opinions you disagree with?
@"KEB" — Perhaps it’s because a majority of GoComics readers are from the “Left.” This point can be balanced by my observation that many comments on RW internet sites are not “name calling,” but ARE calls for violence against “left” or “progressive” views!
Mr. Kelley when you put out a ’toon like this it makes me look at the “goals” and progress toward them your folks have made so that I can compare them.
Reducing the National Debt? That seems aspirational. You had both houses of congress and the executive branch for two years and only made it worse.
Replacing the ACA with “Something better”? Nope. Didn’t have a plan other than “Reject!”
Building a monument to hatred, racism, and bigotry? Not yet but you are now in a place where the government will take land from its citizen owners to spend money not approved by congress to pretend that brown people aren’t using airplanes. Partial credit there.
Job creating infrastructure projects? Aspirational too. Maybe a little from the item above if/when it gets to the building part.
Russian sanctions? That’s written and passed but being ignored. So we can argue about it but to see that happen I would say is aspirational.

^Or, maybe Kelley isn’t so keen on a clean room OR a clean planet.
Also pathetic.

KEB, to not oppose lies and misinformation and propaganda is to give it tacit approval. They must not be allowed to go unchallenged.

^ The child doesn’t have to … Can simply be repeating something he’s overheard. ( Why nitpick the child? )

Fred Trump says: “Donald, how many times have I told you to tell Sally to pick up your room?”
Donald says: “Aw, Dad, my room isn’t a mess! That’s a Chinese hoax!”
