    Actaully, WickedCrazy has a point - if there are still apes left around after their supposed evolution, then why aren’t there still significant samples of the other stages still existing ie. cro-magnon, neanderthal, etc.?

    Cro Magnons and Neanderthals interbred and are part of our genetic mix. Ever see someone with a unibrow?

    The point is apes and humans diverged from a common ancestor, now extinct.

    Ever hear of Bigfoot? But yes, Cavemen survived. And have a hatred of Geico Car Insurance.

    Apes aren’t even animals, but a classification. The Common ancestor did indeed die out. Our cousins continued till this day, where humans are killing them off.
