Reminds me of the contractor who had the low bid and made huge profits from a gas company. They had a leak in a pipeline crossing the desert. They needed someone to go out and find the leak.
Everyone else who bid based their bids using sophisticated gas detectors and time-consuming techniques.
The winner knew that gas is deliberately tainted with the smell of rotting meat (it has little smell of its own). So he simply drove along the pipeline until he saw the large swarm of vultures.
