That happened here in North Carolina a couple of governor races ago. One of the candidates (I can’t recall his name so that says something right there) spent all his money bashing his opponent and the only name people knew was his opponent. Sometimes negative campaigns can go too far.

I had to write down the name of the person that wasn’t doing any bashing and stating what she was going to do.
Apparently her opponents didn’t think she had a chance, because they didn’t bother to bash her.
