I haven’t had any Conch Fritters in YEARS…
Anything CONCH IS DELICIOUS!
Best conch fritters are sold from a small shack just outside of Androstown airport.
It’s the very-very small Solo plastic cups I haven’t been able to get.
The problem with the Conch Fritters is that they were So Delicious the Conch is now on the Endangered Species list.
It is now illegal to take Queen Conchs in the state of Florida.
Aruba, Bermuda, Costa Rica, and Haiti conch fisheries have also perished from over exploitation.
Mr. G., having a conch fritter was going to be the first Florida delicacy when I make my trip there!! Now what??
