Oprah made way too big a deal out of that at the time, if you ask me. Oh no, not everything in this book really happened in real life—how dare he! Biggest crime ever! Now it just doesn’t seem that important.
She’s still doing the same thing. She interviews people without the proper due diligence and background then it turns out most of the subject’s story was a lie. Her most recent example is with Meghan and Harry. Most of what they told her was debunked! Much of that info was easily researched and any true journalist would have validated it beforehand but not Oprah!

Three things to never forget:
Interviewing to a crack addict, she claimed an equivalence between that and her raging love of french fries.
She started out doing the same shtick as Jerry Springer (I forget who copied whom, but they were interchangeable for several years).
She foisted Mehmet Öz & Phil McGraw on us; two of the worst charlatans in the world.

If only he had chewed Oprah’s head off. That’s definitely the biggest disappointment.

A priest, a rabbi, and Oprah walked into a bar…
