I won a Roadmaster bike from Captain 20 back in 1969! He was a host of a kids’ TV show waaay back in the day on UHF channel WDCA in Washington, DC. After I put my post card in the mail, I kept wondering when I would get my bike. My parents repeatedly told me, to no avail, that it was very unlikely that I would get one. Then there was that fateful day when I watching the drawing from the big barrel. My name was chosen, and the phone rang. Yup, it was Captain 20 on the phone with me! I told him, “I knew you’d get that bike for me, Captain 20!” Both my parents then shat themselves and died on the spot. RIP Mom and Dad. LMAO!
