I mean it’s not like Salem taught herself some pretty advanced magic so that by the time Olwen was ready to teach her, she was already fairly advanced. And it’s not like Clover isn’t already Olwen’s pupil. And it’s not like Olwen told Clover that if she needed help and she wasn’t around to go talke to Clover.
