I think Vesper and Wiggy are on the same time plane as Salem and Peter, so for them only the 10 or 20 minutes that went by for Salem along with however long the reunion and travel to Siberia took. I think it is only for Olwen, Clover, Pilot, and Winnie that 5 years passed.
Did Olwen and company end up in the same place as Wiggy and Vesper? Wiggy and Vesper were dragged in, then Ivan. But some time passed (just minutes, but “time” nonetheless) before Olwen gathered her troops and followed. Maybe time is so fluid in the otherworld that it makes a big difference where/when you step in; like getting off a city bus one stop later than the person you are trying to follow.
