I absolutely love it that in Sylvia’s world a considerate, devoted man with plentiful resources must be from another planet. There is a thriving romance genre with millions of adherents and other-worldly sales volumes, in which Earth women are wooed and pursued by hunky aliens. Many women have given up on Earthmen and gone sifting through the stars, and sometimes it’s hard to blame them.
