As a veteran play-by-play guy who has broadcast both men’s and women’s basketball, I can attest that the “girls” are just as competitive as the “guys”!
(Coaches: “You’re playing like a bunch of wimps!” is both accurate and non-sexist… just a suggestion.)
I’m a television engineer who freelances on a few sports trucks. I’ve seen some girls on women’s basketball teams who could easily play on a men’s team. And probably quite successfully! Those were some BIG girls!
