    Show me someone with a prominent tattoo (and/or habitually wears his baseball cap backwards) and I’ll show you someone with difficulties concerning long-term planning.

    Then we can also look at him as a 6th round steal for someone, too. He can prove they were wrong, right? Provided someone that smart can make a priority our of changing the minds for the better.

    one of the best quarterbacks of all time was a Rhodes Scholar (if memory serves me correctly).

    Intelligent players have a tendency to intimidate coaches. Coaches that have a reputation of being “smart” seem to be less than average in the nonfootbal world.

    Years ago there was a QB in Chicago (& Cinn?) that was a PhD in Mathmatics and early computor programming that did nothing but win when given the field, but the coaches were scared to death of his intellect.

    Good, solid QB, but calling him one of the best QBs of all time is a bit of a stretch, IMHO.
