What’s so bad about hearing a woman grunt?
If you weren’t watching and didn’t here the pock – pock of the ball, you’d swear some of these women were either in the loo or giving birth.
The irony of it all is that the worst offender, Maria Sharapova, only shrieks during the actual tournament. When she practices, she’s quiet.
exactly my point. for a lot of the players, it has become more of a tactic (a poor attempt to distract the opponent somehow) than a real necessity.
