Don’t forget Sepp Blatter! He spent $32 million of FIFA’s money to make a movie, “United Passions.” Guess who’s the hero? Hint: it’s the person who turned FIFA’s latest report on its own corruption into a top-secret document.
Part of the document dealt with the awarding of the 2022 World Cup to Qatar, a country which assured FIFA that it could host a World Cup in June and July because it would create a way to air-condition open-air stadiums.
Back in 2011, Blatter promised that this would be his last term as FIFA president. Last year, he announced that he would run for another term. I wonder how much bribe money he’ll distribute.
[If he hadn’t been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, Donald Sterling would be a prize candidate. However, I have reservations about giving the SJOTY award to someone who’s legally incompetent.]
So glad I didn’t miss the SJOTY award. I feared that somehow I had managed to overlook it. So many worthy candidates – nobody has mentioned Adrian Peterson, or Floyd Mayweather, or Greg Hardy, or Jameis Winston, or ……………..
