2015 is the Year of the Jerk! There are more SJY candidates than there are candidates for President of the United States, a few of whom are real jerks.
So many jerks, so little time ……..After this past weekend, I’m thinking of Vontaze Burfict. But he’s only the flavor of the week. Other worthy candidates have been plying their wares for much longer, and to more far-reaching effect, like Goodell and Blatter. It seems like only yesterday that we considered the SJY award for 2014, and Roger was a leading candidate then too. Does he get extra points for longevity?
Every sports writer who left Billy Wagner off his HoF ballot. Wagner had a lower career ERA than any HoFer born after 1900. And the best last year of any pitcher ever.
As I stated at Laugh Tracks, PETE CARROLL IS THE JERK OF THE YEAR AWARD WINNER FOR 2015 IN MY BOOK! I like the Seahawks, but they aren’t my number 1 team at all. BUT A STUPID CALL IS A STUPID CALL! Frankly, I can’t believe he is still the coach after costing the Seahawks the Super Bowl in the last SECOMDS of the game! What a JERK! WHAT AN ASSININE CALL!
