Better safe than sorry.
What’s that a chocolate bird?
For many Thanksgivings spent in Arizona, a buddy and I would deep fry turkeys for friends and neighbors in a 50 gallon drum of cooking oil.
One year we did 47 turkeys !
.
. We had a method where we could cook up to 3 birds at a time.
We’d start at 5am ( to get the oil ready ) and quit at 1pm
I would then go home to eat a roasted turkey that my wife had prepared or barbeque a marinated bird on my propane Weber Grill.
Whatever way you like your turkey tomorrow, enjoy it !
HAPPY THANKSGIVING, TANKERS !
Tank, use a roasting bag. The bird comes out nice and moist without basting.
