Any way Trump can be the Sports Jerk of the Year?

I expect the President will be tweeting Bill later today.

I come here for entertainment about sports, not politics. Bill Hinds just made Jerk of 2018. Even if he starts attacking the other side, he’s still a Jerk. Keep politics out of this one, and leave it in Doonesbury.

Sports and politics have a long standing relationship. This past year only served to shine a brighter light on the subject. From the Summer Olympics of 1936, to John Carlos and Tommy smith putting a black glove ofer the hands and raising the Black Power salute, to the 1972 Olympics and the murder of Israeli athletes, to the Boycott of the 1984 Olympics because of Russia’s involvement in Afghanistan. Then there was the Mohammed Ali situation.

Some here seem to be upset because President 45 has now been brought into the argument.

I hereby nomiate LaVar Ball as sports jerk for 2017, and those at a former relevant sports network as runners up.

Bill, you made the hand too big !

Actually, considering his comments and inteference in the right of athletes to express themselves, freely, I nominate the Commander in Tweet for Sports Jerk of the Year 2018 !

I second, third and fourth the nomination of Der Dumpster for SJOT! Lindsay Vonn has already said she won’t go to the White House , even if invited as par of the US team. Good on her. And all those who want to bitch about that should remember the NHL goalie who wouldn’t5 go to meet Obama. Conservatives SAY they believe in American values, and then repudiate them at every turn!

More championship teams will be following the Warriors’ lead for the next few years.

Or when cities pay hundreds of millions of dollars to build a stadium.

Or when the NFL blackout rule went through Congress in a few hours when legislators could not get tickets to Redskins games.

On when the ping pong team provided an opportunity to talk with China.

Or the Olympics, any place any year.

I am deeply offended.(Not really) I’m going to report you.(No I won’t)All you comic crybabies, get a life.

Trump tried as hard as he could to wreck football, but much like our great country, he can not destroy what we don’t let him.
