I’m sad about this, but I recognize the unfortunate reality. When I was in a long-distance relationship, I was never unfaithful but I knew it was over when I realized that “I have a girlfriend in another country” was no longer ENOUGH to keep me from pursuing other options. “Absence makes the heart grow fonder…of someone who’s closer to hand.”
