yup, you said it … just said what everyone’s been saying for a long long time, pay the “student” athletes for their dues as they do the heavy lifting without any gains. and, sorry, but a “scholarship” is not quite the same when the schools can yank it at anytime (whether hurt, not performing to snuff, etc) and most of the time they make the “student” take non-college courses.
