When Hugh Culverhouse owned the Tampa Bay Bucs, he used to charge players for making local or long distance phone calls from their hotel rooms on away games and also charged them for the Gatorade, energy drinks and canned sodas which they consumed while at training camp and put a vending machine in the locker room to cut expenses. Allegedly he also charged players for the game balls which they earned for those rare wins during those creamsicle days of the ‘70s, 80s and early ’90s. Culverhouse’s choice of a tangerine or creamsicle sport jacket as his typical attire was only rivaled by Don Cherry and the late Craig Sager.

Wouldn’t surprise me if he decided to start an Amazon Airline.

If the Jets DO get Aaron Rodgers, how do they know it won’t be Kyrie Irving all over again?

Rodgers will refuse to be vaccinated and can’t play in New York or New Jersey.

Can you still hitch a ride on cargo planes flying ou tof Memphis?

In the old days they made a bundle selling passenger seats that undercut the regular airlines.

A van? You’re going to get 45 players plus coaches, trainers, and the rest of the support staff in one van? They better get along real well.

Oh my, pickleball has gone pro…

“The current PPA Tour is the result of a merger late last year between the PPA and Major League Pickleball. The MLP had made big splashes over the past couple of years with ownership investments from Tom Brady, LeBron James, Mark Cuban and other big names.”
