Stat nerd Heaven.

We will have an all-too-brief interlude of Heaven as the data is compiled, analyzed, and compared followed by a long period of H3ll as significance is argued. In the days before computers it would have taken years.

Sounds like a hardcore fan.

There must be some money in it. Why else would anyone care?

Numbers people having fun (shrug)!

Just figure out how many at bats qualifies you as an all-time leader.

Back in the Dark Ages B.C. (Before Computers), I had a good buddy who was an insurance actuarial and a sports statistics junkie. His dining room table was always covered with spreadsheets and sports data.

He also was an excellent sports handicapper.

He eventually left a very lucrative job at one of the major insurance companies in Hartford, Ct. for an even more lucrative one in Las Vegas working for the sports bookies!

A lot of N*ego League games probably never even MADE the newspapers.Impossible task, folks

That is a kinda person that LOVES Excel!

Wish there is an explanation for all the acronyms used in todays game.

Don’t. They weren’t major leagues. That is a PC perspective, not a baseball one. They had great players who deserve to be in the Hall of Fame. But overall? No.
