NFL refs are still pale imitators of MLB umps when demanding personal attention and deluding themselves that injecting themselves into the game is what the paying fans are looking for.
As bad as they are the real scandal is in the league headquarters. I have no idea what it would take them too terminate an ump or ref. Well I guess if you consider the NBA I do know. Curse you Timothy Francis Donaghy
