Todays comic is a great teacher of lesson to us all. Before you head out this morning, heed this strip as a warning!! Your life may very well depend on what i next say! Stay sharp to your surrondings and always be at the top of your reflexes, because, you never know when a gorrilla or (bear) may be coming around your corner, totally focused on ruining your day. Its time to wake-up and smell the tacos!! :) Haha!
good morning Brickhouse -wow! you were here all by yourself-Did you want more songs? Ell fellow never go any where without your Swiss or Scut knife—Kala will have to pick up the pieces tomorrow or the day after for sure
Finrisuler – Katman – Quartermain, and other Tarzanatics … - To clarify my objection to comic strip artists who depend to much on staged photographs to draw from (or in many cases, to trace) IMO it often causes the finished strips to be stiff and the figure work to be awkward … especially in action sequences.
That knife must be made out of some incredible steel, to have remained rust-free and razor-sharp for so many years. Also worth noting: Odd that Tarzan was pummeling his adversary’s chest like a girl in an old movie. Most guys instinctively favor a knuckles-forward approach, in which the knife would have done precious little good.
These Apes keep getting more Gorilla sized with each passing day—as for Tarzan’s fighting style—he was just a young thing and couldn’t leave his mother. Hello again Brickhouse
The quality of the last vignette is oustanding. The composition in a diagonal is very dinamic. The alegory of David versus Golliat is very apparent, our own quest for life against all odds, the hidding message on the tree in shape of an eye that tells us that kala is watching….a real artist at work.
