Brickhouse—on the night shift or playing Lothario at Hooters? And where’s Katman—Aperson—Rayc—David and all dwellers of the Green Hell—Thinking of Edgar Lee Masters’ “Spoon River Anthology”—sleeping on the hill?—Of course not the way Masters had them sleeping. Poor young Tarzan, a deep, deep sorrow—Kala now sleeps the sleep of no awakening.

Today is the day that the new ‘lord of the jungle’ makes its debue. I called the comicbook store yesterday and told them to hold mine for pickup on friday; since i work long shifts. I suggest you do the same, although i think most of you have some form of the tale already. This is just a newer version in a 4 part.

in the book… “After Tarzan reaches adulthood, Kala is killed by a native African hunter, who is afterward killed by Tarzan in revenge.”…………. than Tarzan begins having “fun with the hunter’s tribe” and steal weapons and stuff and they think it is an “evil spirit” and try to appease it

@katmanYeah i will pickup those dark horse tarzan’s you recommended. Right now i am getting thru some backissue zorro’s from the 90s. I actually have kuberts 70s run with dc called ‘tarzan the untamed’. I also saw ‘tarzan vs predetor at the earths core’ on the comic stores website. I am definetly putting that one on the list also.

You beat me quartermain:) and this was my last night on nightshift too.Well, you are welcome to it. Its a big responsibility being the first to post, since many of the times you sett the mode for the comments section. Its fun though! Also, on my last post i wrote ‘tarzan vs predator at the earths core’. I meant ‘tarzan vs predetor at the center of the earth’. That should be more acceptable and not as rediculous to all us scifi superstars. Have a great morning superstars:-)

    A sad day indeed.

I was up late watching for the Geminid meteor shower. The bright moon interfered, but I did see four in an hour. NASA said to expect forty to sixty in an hour, so that was disappointing. They’ll return tonight.

A death in the “family”. first sorrow, then anger. Tarzan will wreak havoc upon those responsible as “Wiselad” said.Brickhouse—The three volumes of “Tarzan—The Joe Kubert Years” has all of the comics in sequence that Kubert drew for DC in the ’70’s; they cost about $30 each hardcover. There is a site called “Things from Another World” which is a book distributor online—-check them out tribe-mates. And a jolly Wednesday morning to you all!

The “cartoonist” is named John Celardo and I have never heard of people eating apes (although I suspect the Chinese have done so since they eat just about anything).
