I know—I’m taking unfair advantage of you faithful-fine Lads, by getting here before going to bed here on the N.W. Coast—but by the time I get back in here tomorrow, most of you will have posted hours ahead of my re-entry. So Good night and good morning to the faithful—brickhouse—Aperson—our jungle wise Katman—Rayc—wiselad—riverhawk—Sydman(who like me, likes Prince Valiant)—sasksled dog—and all the rest. Looks like Tarzan goes modern—more like the stories featured in the plot lines on TV with Ron Ely some years ago—we’d all like to return to the mythical Africa of Burroughs—to the lost Empires and of course trek to Opar for some gold.

well, at least they have walkie talkies, so it feels like in “the past”, if they did same story today, it would be with cell phones :>)

Which would be easier to tuck in a loin clout, than a walkie talkie.

Would they already have cell reception that far from town?

Wouldnt that bring unwanted attention to what Tarzan is trying to do with the circling overhead every day, or get them shot down somehow?

That cumbersome “Walkie-Talkie” will be the first casualty of the adventure for reasons cited by tribe-mates above. The general said that the pilot went down in “thick jungle”, right now we are hovering over the savanna. Hmmm, I wonder if this whirly-bird were to go down…….Jambo one and all!

Tie the walkie-talkie to a tree right near the drop point.

Tarzan’s spotted (?) loincloth can surely hide a lot of “junk”, but I really like your idea of him carrying a Gucci crocodile handbag…very "fashionable!
